Politicians say press missing stories from the 2007 Montana Legislative Session

As Montana’s 60th Legislature heads into its final weeks, some of the session’s best-kept secrets may be hiding in plain view.
Sure, it’s been hard to ignore the partisanship and rancor over how to spend a billion-dollar surplus, and it’s impossible to keep up with the activities of 150 lawmakers, much less the more than 1,500 bills they have introduced.
Even so, a few legislators took time last week to consider their candidates for the session’s most unheralded stories.
