Montana Career Opportunity – Associate Commissioner – Montana University System

The ideal candidate is an expert innovator and communicator who will lead & manage change in a competitive & fulfilling environment of higher education. The Associate Commissioner is a key strategist & administrator for technology, research, & communication in the Montana University System.

Responsibilities include: successful administration of media relations, governmental relations, legislative coordination, and communications with various constituent groups and the public; building, maintaining, and improving collaborative partnerships between the Montana University System and the state’s communities, businesses, local, state, and federal government and organizations.

Additional info: Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Benefits include generous leave package, insurance, retirement, employee and dependent tuition waivers subject to Board of Regents policy. The position is open until filled. Initial screening of applications will begin March 22, 2007.
