Montana Governor Schweitzer says clean energy is this generation’s challenge
March 10, 2007 /
This could be America’s next "greatest generation" if we can solve the problem of producing energy without destroying the planet, Gov. Brian Schweitzer said Friday in Bozeman.
If we can’t solve it, our children’s generation and their children will be stationing troops and fighting battles in Kuwait, Iraq, Azerbiajan and other oil-producing nations, the governor warned.
We need kids who want to be scientists and change the world, he said. "Without teachers who energize children, we’re going to lose this battle."
