If you’re caught between self-funding and raising capital, there’s another recipe for success.
Conventional Wisdom dicates that entrepreneurs choose between funding themselves and raising early capital. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. With selffunding, or bootstrapping, entrepreneurs may sacrifi ce opportunity by not taking a larger VC investment—it’s a “size-of-pie vs. share-of-pie” trade-off.
