Montana Career Opportunity – Systems Administrator – Merlin Information Services

Responsibilities: Installs, configures, manages and maintains Merlin�s enterprise systems: servers, network hardware components and software, power supplies and peripherals at Home office and Co-location sites. Assists fellow team members and customers with system changes and operational problems. Maintains tracking of support issues/needs, assets, system updates and support trends via IT help desk software, MS Office tools, and other products. Serves as member of 24/7 On-Call/Alert Response Team and as member of other IT teams as required. Some travel is required.

Qualifications: Bachelor�s degree in computer science or related field and 2-3 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with network equipment administration and configuration, LAN management/administration in a Windows Server operating environment, Linux/Unix experience and experience with most Microsoft Workstation and Server Operation Systems. Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment and travel as needed. Network Administrator or Network Engineer certification is a plus.

Salary/Wage: 40,000.00 – 55,000.00 USD /year
Commensurate with experience

Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years

Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
