Industry discovers low cost of heartland

Out in the Farm Belt of Eastern and Central Washington, references to plants usually mean green leafy things sprouting from seeds in the ground.

The new crop of plants in Washington’s Farm Belt is also springing from the earth, but this time it’s in the form of steel frames and tilt-up concrete walls.
