The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Utah-based TechniScan Medical Systems http://www.techniscanmedicalsystems.com has been awarded a $2.8 million grant to perfect a breast cancer screening tool that could make the exams painless and help radiologists distinguish between cancers and benign masses.
