The Washington Research Foundation files patent lawsuits against electronics giants, Matsushita, Samsung and Nokia, using Bluetooth

Three of the world’s largest electronics companies are being sued by a Seattle-based research foundation, which says their U.S. sales of devices using the popular Bluetooth wireless technology infringe on patented work done at the University of Washington.
The Washington Research Foundation filed suit Thursday in U.S. District Court in Seattle against Matsushita, Samsung and Nokia.
