The Montana Nonprofit Association has an agenda for the 2007 Montana Legislative Session including extending the Montana Charitable Endowment Tax Credit

The Montana Nonprofit Association will be looking to the Legislature next year for help as it faces an uncertain endowment future and potential leadership shortage.

The association, which represents about 275 nonprofit organizations, hopes to persuade the Legislature to keep certain tax laws in place that benefit nonprofit groups. "One of the biggest legislative pieces – the one we know we want for sure – is the Montana Charitable Endowment Tax Credit," said MNA director Brian Magee.
