Tech wizard has one eye on the heavens, one on the road, aiming to put people into space and also into (VERY FAST) electric cars

Elon Musk wants to send humans to space. Here on Earth, though, he wants us to be able to drive very fast electric cars.

The roadster, which will sell from $80,000 to $100,000, is indeed a niche sports car. Given the code name Dark Star internally, it will go from 0 to 60 mph in about four seconds and travel about 250 miles on a full charge.
