Does your state have an Ambassadors program for the "brain bank" that’s available inside and outside of the state?

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

What kind of brain bank do you have? Scotland’s ED agency set up Globalscot http://www.globalscot.com/ to help it network with powerbrokers around the globe in 2001.

The network is an invitation only one with regular meetings and communication to its 1,000 members. It is an excellent, inexpensive way to leverage those with an affinity for Scotland. Similar networks have been set up for Mexico and Chile.

North Dakota http://www.luvnd.com/ has set one up on a statewide basis. They already have over 1,000 former residents from around the world who are Ambassadors for Economic Development in the state.
