Missoula’s Franklin Elementary School earns national honors

There’s no money or library books or new computers associated with winning a 2006 Blue Ribbon School award.
That’s what makes it so special for Franklin Elementary School. Its staff and students see it as a straightforward recognition of a job well done. That the recognition comes from state and federal education officials and goes to just two other schools in Montana doesn’t hurt either.
