Former United States Exploration Executives Announce the Formation of Upstream Entity and $228 million Private Equity Commitment

Certain members of the former executive management team of United States Exploration, Inc. announced the recent formation of a new upstream energy company, Augustus Energy Partners, LLC ("AEP" or "Company").

United States Exploration, Inc. was sold in March 2006 to Noble Energy, Inc. for total consideration of $411 million.
