Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation finds success, hope in conservation efforts

Tom Toman proudly looks over one nice stand of native grass about halfway up a ridge in the Blackfoot-Clearwater Wildlife Management Area on this chilly Monday morning.

“This used to be full of knapweed,” Toman said. “Now there’s at least seven different species of native grasses growing here.”
