Most Idaho jobs short of living wage. Only 17 percent of jobs in Idaho are paying a living wage

The stay-at-home parent in Idaho could be going the way of the dodo bird.

Only 17 percent of jobs in Idaho are paying a living wage for a two-parent, two-child household where one parent stays at home, according to a report released Tuesday by the Northwest Federation of Community Organizations.

NWFCO is a "federation of community-based social and economic justice organizations" in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington, the report says. The group collected data from surveys in 2005.
