On September 21, 2006 the University of Montana, the School of Business Administration , and the Montana Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs will present the Lewis & Clark Pioneer in Industry Award to Thomas Siebel (Siebel Systems Founder and Montana Meth Project Founder) and William M. Allen, Past President and CEO of The Boeing Company.

The award recognizes exemplary entrepreneurs whose professional achievements represent a revolutionary, pioneering impact in their field of endeavor. Past recipients include: Liz Claiborne and Art Ortenberg (Founders of Liz Claiborne, Inc.) and Dennis Washington (Founder of Washington Group International).
