University of Montana President George Dennison
says the school hasn’t found any conflicts of interest, in
connection with the management of a NASA grant.

But he says the university has revised several policies to
provide better documentation of the ways that the school manages
potential conflicts of interest in the future.

Hoping to save space group, attorney orders financial audit

The Inland Northwest Space Alliance has moved out of its spacious offices on North Reserve Street and relocated to smaller quarters in downtown Missoula, with a downsized staff waiting out a storm of controversy.

Two main reasons are behind INSA’s retrenchment, which has forced a pay cut for its top three administrators, said Milt Datsopoulos, the Missoula attorney who is chairman of INSA’s board of directors and the company’s spokesperson.

The viability of the NASA-funded space education and research business is threatened because it is the focus of a state legislative audit and an ongoing federal investigation, Datsopoulos said.
