Great Falls development group hires new leader- Welcome to Brett M. Doney

The leader of an economic development organization in Maine has been hired to help lead the Great Falls Development Authority.

Brett M. Doney, president and chief executive officer of Enterprise Maine http://www.enterprisemaine.com/ , will begin work in Great Falls Sept. 14. He replaces John Kramer, who took a job with an economic development group in Iowa in early June.

"I think he will be a good fit," said Bob Nebel, the chairman of the GFDA board. "He has good experience."

Doney, 46, will be paid $124,000 annually and will be eligible for a yearly bonus of up to $6,000. Along with health and retirement benefits, he will receive an automobile allowance of $650 per month.
