Publicly held RightNow Technologies http://www.rightnow.com/ of Bozeman on Monday announced a 28 percent jump in second-quarter revenue compared to the same period last year.

The nearly $27 million in revenue signals RightNow’s 34th consecutive quarter of revenue growth.

However, a change in the Generally Accepted Accounting Practices — the industry standard for bookkeeping — means RightNow showed a net loss on paper of $1.8 million for the quarter.
