Big 12 hopes sports lure VC. Schools planning conference to run during football championship

Schools in the Big 12 Conference want to attract more venture investment to their states, with football as the bait.

The schools plan to hold a conference for venture capitalists in early December — held in conjunction with the Big 12 championship football game in Kansas City — to showcase technology developed at the various schools.
