"Plumm Summer" announces stars. Henry Winkler and William Baldwin will anchor the movie being filmed in Bozeman and Livingston this summer

Hollywood stars Henry Winkler and William Baldwin will anchor "A Plumm Summer," the movie being filmed in Bozeman and Livingston this summer, producers announced Thursday.

"A Plumm Summer" is based on a true story about two brothers and a neighbor who search for a kidnapped frog puppet named Froggy Doo, the star of a Montana TV show. The film is set in late 1960s Montana.

Baldwin, known for movies such as the 1991 film "Backdraft" and the more recent "The Squid and the Whale," will play the role of father to the Plumm’s two young boy characters.

Winkler is probably best remembered for his role as "the Fonz" on the 1970s and 1980s sitcom "Happy Days." He will play "Happy Herb," who created Froggy Doo and was the host of the long-running Montana children’s TV show.

"The producers and directors really, really wanted Henry Winkler," Doug Nam, associate producer, said.
