Wyoming ranks high for education technology

Wyoming has fewer students per instructional computer than all but two states and is one of just four states where both teachers and school administrators are required to have technology training, Education Week reported Thursday.

For those reasons and others, the magazine ranked Wyoming fourth in the nation for the technology in its K-12 education system.

The magazine gave the state an A grade for the access its students have to technology, a B-minus for how schools put that technology to use, and a B-minus for students’ capacity to use technology. Overall, Wyoming’s grade was a B.
