Grant will partner the Fort Peck Indian tribes, Harvard Medical School to provide behavioral and mental health services for children on the reservation

A $150,000 federal grant will partner the Fort Peck Indian tribes with Harvard Medical School to provide behavioral and mental health services for children on the reservation, Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., said.

The money is for the Rural Access: Mental Health Care Project and will be used to make tribal school computers compatible with those at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

The computers will then be used to provide telemedicine psychiatric counseling for reservation children by postdoctoral Harvard students, Baucus said in a release.
