Cash-seeking entrepreneurs, investors go speed dating

Lined up like cattle, the eight entrepreneurs eagerly waited for their names to be called.

Then, one by one, they approached the conference room podium and made their best investment pitch to a crowded room of more than 200 venture capitalists, angel investors, lawyers and service providers.
