Coleman brothers earn Presidential Leadership scholarships from UM.

“The reason we wanted the story out is because of the bad publicity about test scores,” said Robert Coleman, a freshman this year at the University of Montana. Robert and his brother, Thomas, have both won UM Presidential Leadership Scholarships, good for four years at the school. Not based on need but on academic performance, the pair and their family are proud, not only of the two students but also of the school system by which they’ve been educated.

“My brother and I are products of the school system here,” said Robert. “I started in first grade. I got a great education in Browning. There are great teachers here.”
