North Dakota Has New CIO – Lisa Feldner

North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven today appointed Lisa Feldner to serve as the state’s new chief information officer (CIO). From 1991 to date, Feldner has served as technology director for Bismarck Public Schools, where she has managed the budget and staff, as well as the development, design and integration of software and hardware systems for more than 13,000 users at 26 campuses.

"Lisa is committed to advancing North Dakota’s comprehensive technology plan," Hoeven said. "We have laid a strong foundation with STAGEnet, which links schools and state government in an integrated voice, data, video network, and now Lisa will bring to the job the skills necessary to take the state to the next level of development."
