Montana ag council selects projects for funding. $277,000 of Growth Through Agriculture funds allocated

The Montana Agriculture Development Council recently awarded more than $277,000 of Growth Through Agriculture funds to agricultural development projects.

"The council selected a diverse group of feasibility, start-up, expansion and marketing projects from throughout Montana," said Nancy K. Peterson, Montana Department of Agriculture director.

The Agriculture Development Council oversees the Growth Through Agriculture program, the source of funding used by the council for project investments. Since the beginning of fiscal year 2006, the Growth Through Agriculture program has invested $942,570.50 in 32 Montana agriculture projects.
