MSU business team places third at regional competition that assesses proficiency in financial information systems.

A team of Montana State University College of Business http://www.montana.edu/cob/index.php accounting students placed third at the recent Beta Alpha Psi Rocky Mountain regional meeting in Boulder, Colo. The competition assesses proficiency in financial information systems.

The MSU team included Greg Astle of Kalispell, Janet Cyblski of Plentywood, Meghan Peel and Morgan Smith of Helena. They competed against teams from Brigham Young, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Colorado at Denver, Colorado State, Denver University, Fort Lewis College, Idaho State, Northern Colorado, Utah, Utah State, Weber State and the University of Wyoming.

This is the third year in a row that the team placed among the top three at the competition, placing first the last two years.

Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for financial information students and professionals promoting excellence in the business information field.
