Michigan Bundles Computers and Services For Citizens

The State of Michigan is launching a program that will make personal computers more accessible and affordable for all citizens. The MiPC program (pronounced MY-PC) will bundle everything a citizen needs to start computing at home, including a warranty, toll-free technical support, a printer, affordable Internet connection, interactive training, and the financing to spread the cost over time.

Recent surveys show that 28% of households in the state do not have a computer or are not connected to the Internet, according to the state.
