SCORE is ready, willing and able to serve small business entrepreneurs throughout Montana.

Eight chapters are located in Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Havre, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula. More than 190 volunteer business counselors are available to assist you in starting a new business or getting through some rough times in an existing business. SCORE is a national, nonprofit, organization and a resource partner of the U. S. Small Business Administration.

Recently two clients contacted a Montana SCORE office seeking assistance in starting a new franchise business. A counseling team was formed consisting of an attorney, an accountant and two people from the business world to assist them in evaluating their business proposal and working with them in finalizing a business plan. The two have formed an LLC and have successfully obtained financing from their lending institution. The grand opening of their new business has been scheduled.
