Knowledge of business management and marketing practices is needed, including: preparation of sound business plans; identification of financing options; and ability to plan and coordinate seminars/training opportunities in subjects needed by business owners and prospective entrepreneurs. Must have the ability to analyze business financial performance and recommend corrective action. Also, the SBDC Director must be able to prepare business financing packages and loan applications, and to analyze financing options for business start-ups and expansions.
