Two Cities Receive Technology Awards From U.S. Conference of Mayors

The City of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Northrop Grumman Corporation were recently honored with an Excellence in Public/Private Partnership Award for a wireless broadband network installation that enhances e-government services and provides a direct connection between local public agencies and their citizens and visitors.

The Excellence in Public/Private Partnership Awards were established by The United States Conference of Mayors to recognize achievements made possible by the partnerships between cities and companies across the nation. The awards were presented at The U.S. Conference of Mayors’ 74th Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C.
