Three Rivers Communications plans $10 million in capital improvements

Three Rivers Communications’ http://www.3riverswireless.com/ Plant, Facilities and Engineering departments should have a very busy year after finalizing a capital spending budget of $10 million for 2006.

"We are committed to upgrading, repairing, and improving our wire/cable facility, central office equipment and IP network to continue to provide our customers the communications services they need and expect," said Darren Moser, general manager of 3 Rivers.

The budgeted funds are spread throughout all 29 3 Rivers exchanges, covering an area from Browning in the northern part of the state down to Lima, near the Montana/Idaho border. Three Rivers Telephone Operations Manager Steve Krogue said, "We have big plans to increase our capabilities for 2006, but, as with any budget or planning process, we can only project what will actually happen in the upcoming year. Some projects will expand and some will be eliminated or changed as the year progresses."
