Anaconda panel maker struggles to stay open

A new custom-cut insulated panel manufacturer at Anaconda’s east entrance is struggling to operate after suffering a business setback.

Management for Northwoods Enterprises say they’ll work on a strategy to keep the year-old plant afloat.

“We’re trying to keep the business alive; we’re trying to keep the business in Anaconda,” part owner Paul Wilson of Victor said Tuesday. “We’re committed to trying to do that.” Trouble began recently when the company’s supplier ran into financial and business difficulties, according to Wilson.
