UM, Missoula College of Technology Dean, Paul Williamson Takes on New Role at UM to Develop Alternative Energy Projects and Long-Range Building Programs

The University of Montana has announced that Paul Williamson, dean of the College of Technology, has accepted a special assignment to work on University projects related to alternative energy and the development of the Long-Range Building Program for the college’s new campus.

He will continue to work with the University’s administration and faculty as he seeks to move the COT building plan forward.

UM will begin a nationwide search for a replacement for Williamson. In the interim, Associate Dean Harry Sheski will assume the position of acting dean.

COT dean leaves post for project

The University of Montana is looking for a new dean to lead its College of Technology.

Paul Williamson, COT dean since 2002, has accepted a special assignment to work on university projects related to alternative energy and the development of long-range building plans for COT’s Missoula campus, UM Provost Lois Muir said Monday.
