Montana Senator Max Baucus endorses outsourcing of white-collar jobs

BANGALORE, India A leading Democrat in the Senate is endorsing the idea of outsourcing white-collar jobs to India and other low-wage countries.

Democrat Max Baucus of Montana spoke to The Associated Press in India, where he’s on a five-day tour with American business leaders.

The top Democrat on the Finance Committee says, "Offshoring helps U-S companies produce better products for the world." He describes globalization as an "absolute necessity."
