2 Seattle companies successful in 2nd round of financing of over $20 Million. CallVision bought by VeriSign in $30 million deal

Two Seattle companies have raised substantial capital to expand their businesses in two hot consumer areas.

Pure Networks http://purenetworks.com/ , which develops software that makes it easier to link home computers with devices, said Wednesday that it has raised $12.5 million in a second round of venture financing.

CallVision bought by VeriSign in $30 million deal

VeriSign Inc., of Mountain View, Calif., has bought Seattle’s CallVision Inc. for $30 million in a deal set to close by April 1.
