With the click of a mouse, parents will be able to check on grades, attendance with Parent Connect
January 7, 2006 /
Some students won’t be pleased to learn that soon, their parents may be tracking their school activities online.
Fifteen volunteer parents of Lake City High School students are working on Parent Connect, an electronic communication from the school to the parent.
Parent Connect informs parents of their son or daughter’s grades, attendance, assignments and discipline with a click of the mouse.
"In today’s environment it’s certainly an opportunity for parents to have good information," said Jean Bengfort, the district’s director of technology.
