The new year is the perfect time to make resolutions about work. You're going to get organized, gain some new skills or go for that promotion. But as January turns into February, you find yourself losing enthusiasm for your resolutions. By March, you've abandoned most of them, and by June, they are only a distant memory. When December rolls around, you're depressed and frustrated just thinking about what you didn't get done.
But what if your work goals were geared around celebrations? You don't forget your birthday or the Fourth of July, do you? Of course not. That's why it's time to link your career goals to various commemorative times. So, get out your calendar and begin marking down these important dates:
