NeoReach CEO upbeat on wireless cities

Part of company’s 40-mile network now operating in Tempe

Bruce Sanguinetti has seen his share of fly-by-night telecom and wireless business plans.

One of the latest trends has companies vying to win contracts with cities to provide citywide wireless Internet access.

As chief executive officer of NeoReach Wireless in Tempe, Sanguinetti’s job is to make sure his company flies above the clutter of providers that promise such access. The company’s major testing ground is right here in the Valley, first in Tempe, then Chandler.

"A lot of people have thrown speculative business plans out there with the hope that it sticks," the 51-year-old Sanguinetti said. "We’re doing more metro deployments than any single company in the business. I think that validates that we have a very workable plan."
