Shades of green: Web site provides eco-friendly tips
For consumers who would rather drive a hybrid car than ride a bicycle to work, there’s a new Web site that promotes such "light-green" approaches to eco-friendliness.
http://www.Idealbite.com — the brainchild of Jennifer Boulden of Ennis and Heather Stephenson of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Libby — provides information consumers can easily incorporate into their lifestyles.
"It’s a whole lot of things you can try without selling your house and going and living in a yurt," Boulden, 32, said.
Boulden and Stephenson are careful to avoid "preaching" to readers and are "forgiving about environmental indiscretions," Boulden said.
"They’re still a conscientious consumer, even if they’re driving an SUV," Boulden said of site visitors.
