Ty Robinson will share memories, experiences and stories based on an eclectic collection of characters, citizens and commerce which illustrate Missoula's rich diversity today. Robinson, whose topic is Missoula's Roots - Where Did We Come From, is a native Montanan who has lived in eight Montana towns and cities.

He graduated from the University of Montana in 1940. After working for the Immigration Service and serving in the United States Navy, he graduated from the University of Montana Law School. He served as the in-house lawyer for the Missoula Mercantile Company.

In 1954, Robinson became an organizing partner in the Missoula law firm of Garlington, Lohn and Robinson, where he is now senior counsel.
