Group wants tax incentives for Idaho tech industry – Breaks would aid investment and research
November 28, 2005 /
Some of the state’s most influential business executives and university leaders plan to propose a slate of ideas aimed at boosting investment and research in Idaho’s high-tech industries.
The group hopes Idaho lawmakers will endorse tax incentives for people who invest in start-up companies and funding for programs aimed at helping these new companies get on their feet.
Boise State University President Bob Kustra said the ideas could have a "significant impact" in Idaho’s ability to recruit and nurture new businesses.
