November 6, 2005 /
Evan Trewhella was one of the youngest students enrolled in a Montana State University-Billings Outreach class this semester. http://www.msubillings.edu/outreach
Eighteen-month-old Evan and his grandmother, Merry Jane Trewhella, attended baby sign language class, where he learned to sign a few words that he cannot say yet. The six-week class was taught by Cathy Copeland, sign language interpreter at MSU-Billings.
Reaching students of all ages is one goal of the outreach program.
