Twelve plans competing for Butte-Silver Bow economic development money

Competition is stiff for economic development money in Butte-Silver Bow.

Twelve groups asked for a total of $288,000 and only $65,000 is available from this year’s mill levy.

A sub-group of county commissioners faces the tough job of prioritizing. They will review all proposals and then make recommendations to the whole body.
