The Montana Aerospace Development Association Receives Grant to Continue Promoting Economic Development in Aerospace Technology

The Montana Aerospace Development Association http://www.mt-ada.org/ , which has Butte ties, has received a $20,000 state grant to continue promoting economic development in aerospace technology.

The state Department of Commerce awarded the planning grant Friday in Butte.

“We have an opportunity to promote and expand aerospace development across the state,” said Anthony Preite, director of the Department of Commerce.

“The stage has been set here in Butte.” The aerospace association is a group of private and public interests, including MERDI, aiming to grow the aerospace sector of Montana’s economy.

The grant will be used for continued planning, including finding ways to pull together companies working together in the aerospace industry.
