Writing a business plan

Be careful of conventional wisdom. You will be told that creating a business plan represents a terribly complicated problem. It isn’t. You will be told to look at a business plan format and follow it to the letter. Don’t. You will be told that every part is as important as every other part. It isn’t. You will be told that ‘substance’ is the important stuff and that ‘form’ is not important. Wrong!

Most business plans are designed to be a tool management uses to monitor the growth of a business. It will enable you to periodically do a comparative analysis to see which ideas worked in the past and which didn’t. You will be able to increase and maximize your efforts by examining and reexamining the most cost effective ways to grow.
