TransAria, Inc, announces the release of a business-grade Voice-over-IP (VoIP) service available throughout the state of Montana

TransAria, Inc, http://www.transaria.com/ a provider of enterprise-class WAN (Wide Area Network) services has announced the release of a business-grade Voice-over-IP (VoIP) service available throughout the state of Montana. The service allows companies of any size to significantly reduce their telecommunications expenses and increase the productivity of their workforce.

“The Montana business community is ready to make the leap to a converged voice and data network” according to Roger Lang, CEO of TransAria. “The last 12 months have demonstrated that voice-over-IP has definitely moved out of the research lab and into mainstream corporate America. We’ve been testing our solution since April and are very comfortable with its reliability and feature set. It’s a tremendous opportunity for companies to reduce one of their biggest operating expenses by a significant margin”.

Because business customers expect their voice system to be virtually fail-proof, successful implementations of voice-over-IP require an underlying network that is built with the needs of the enterprise in mind. This makes the new VoIP service ideally suited to ride on top of TransAria’s state-wide all-IP network. “TransAria’s service level guarantees and MPLS-enabled network have become known in the business community of Montana as being synonymous with high reliability and low latency” said Lang.

“The business case for VoIP is extremely compelling” said Larry Iacopini CFO of Macon Supply, one of the northwest’s largest construction supply companies. “With 5 offices in two states and customers in multiple states, we have always looked for ways to reduce our long-distance and telecommunications bill, and we have finally found it in TransAria’s VoIP product. We expect the new service to pay for itself within 3 months”.

The VoIP service comes in two flavors. A “Trunk Replacement” option allows organizations to eliminate the need for separate data and voice lines to the outside world, while maintaining their existing telephone system. Alternatively, a “hosted VoIP” option altogether eliminates the need for a PBX by running all of their voice traffic on the existing corporate LAN. Both services afford savings through the virtual elimination of long distance charges and of duplicate data/voice T1 lines, while the hosted VoIP solution delivers additional value through a number of productivity-enhancing features made available to the end user through an intuitive web interface. Both services are available immediately.
