Idaho Governor’s Science & Technology Advisory Council adds Councilmember to seek biotech business

For the first time, a biomedical expert will sit on the Governor’s Science & Technology Advisory Council http://technology.idaho.gov/portal/ , signaling the emergence of that field in a state where tech is usually associated with laser printers and computer memory chips.

Robin Woods, 40, of Moscow, a drug testing and analysis company president, is a new council member. She joins Jason Crawforth a 35-year-old software entrepreneur from Boise, in taking two newly created council seats.

John L. Grossenbacher, the Idaho National Laboratory director, was appointed the new chairman of the council.
