Scientists and professors at Montana State University have set another record in research spending, which reached $98.4 million in the past year, a 12 percent jump from the previous year.

"I’m very proud of the university’s efforts," MSU President Geoff Gamble said Thursday. "I’m delighted to see we continue to be competitive and successful."

"It’s a great testimony to the high quality of the faculty," said Tom McCoy, vice president for research http://www.montana.edu/wwwvr/index.html . "It’s a very significant contribution to Gallatin County, Montana and the nation, as a result of the discoveries being made at this campus."
